Assistant Professor
Pronob Das was born in Chandpur, Bangladesh. He received his MASc in Mechanical Engineering from University of Victoria, Canada and B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET). Mr. Pronob received the prestigious "Student of the year" award from the Mechanical department at RUET in 2016 for his outstanding academic performance. From February 2019 to July 2022, he was a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at RUET. With approximately four years of teaching experience, he is currently on leave from his position as an Assistant Professor. He has some remarkable publications in his research areas.
Currently, Pronob is pursuing his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. His current research area focuses on the techno-economic life cycle assessment of clean energy technologies.
Pronob enjoys traveling, cycling, fishing, and outdoor activities like cricket, football, etc. in his spare time.
